Rain was our biatch today 4/15/2006 07:27:00 PM
No we did not run for shelter or hide in the house all day, we threw the bikes on the car and headed out for some geocaching. Went up to Hazel, biked through the freeway side of Lake Natomas...raindrops came and went but we prevailed. We were on our mountain bikes and did the wussy verison of Single tracking. Lunch at the Cellular Cafe (ok-nothing special) but they have a great toy store. I think the ladies that work there were embarrassed for us, cause we were having more fun than away of kids. We bought fish that light up, finger lights, funny kitty that lights up and insect eyeglasses. Then off to some of the further away geocaches in the Carmichael area. Our fav was the Lizard's tongue...someone took a plastic lizard and put the cache in its belly....points for being the most original cache. We found a total of 5 out of like 8. Then off to JB3, sportswear discounters. Lob it. Then off to the grocery store...now we (Rich) are working on fettuchini with shrimp and pancetta....YummmmmmmmmmmmmmY. Great Saturday....no real rain yet.
